Scope and policy

The Electronic Journal "Actualidades Investigativas en Educación" is a quarterly publication of an academic nature, produced by the Instituto de Investigaciones e Educación  (INIE), Universidad de Costa Rica, which is placed at the disposal of teachers of this university and and the national and international community interested in education. The site can be accessed at revista.inie.ucr.ac.cr

The purpose of this is to create a forum for analysis, discussion and reflection in education, in addition to disseminating performing production specialists in this area and contributions from other disciplines are produced with the help of Information Technology and Communication. It is noteworthy that Investigative News in Education publishes, disseminates and promotes the work under the philosophy of Open Access (Open Access), where knowledge is free both in their dissemination as access.
